The Magnolia Apartments are situated in a former baroque villa dating from the 18th century. It used to belong to an old family from Split, the Martinis-Marchi family. A small groomed garden reminds of the former spacious garden in front of the south facade, and it still contains a small magnolia tree, which used to be the distinguishing mark of the former vast garden in front of the house. The Magnolia Apartments are located only a short walking distance from the city center, which offers plenty of restaurants, cafes, and stores, as well as the must-see Diocletian’s Palace, one of the symbols of the city of Split. By car you can reach the very entrance to the Magnolia Apartments, and we have reserved free parking for our guests nearby. All the apartments are air-conditioned and furnished by perfectly comfortable hand-made furniture. All the apartments have coffee and tea machines. The coffee and tea, as well as fresh seasonal fruit each morning, are offered free of charge. The guests can also enjoy free Wi-Fi connection and LCD TV with a satellite connection. The Magnolia Apartments maintain the high-category hotels standard: a housemaid will clean your apartment each morning in the period from 12:00 am to 02:00 pm, make your bed, change the towels, and replenish the coffee, tea, fruit and toiletries. The interior of the apartments is a combination of beautifully conserved baroque walls dating from the 18th century and photographs of the historic old city of Split by Matko Biljak, one of the best Split’s photographers of today.
